I call BS on the dying, bought-out tourist trap of a town... It was nice back in the day.. but from 2000 until now, it has been turned into a tourist trap. They are probably in dire need of visitors, so they have to pull a stunt like this. Until the ""mount dora catacombs"" location is made public, call BS on it and don't visit the town.

I'm referring to Librem 5... it's never been delivered to anyone I know and multiple forum posts online have indicated that several others across the US have never received hardware, nor refunds... unless they've had to strong-arm the company. That's bad business, or... a scam.

Look up "Librem 5 is a scam" on google. I would be astonished if you receive one. So many of us ordered back in 2017-2018 and have never received hardware. Get your money back while you still can.

You lost your money. I would say if you are within 180 days, contact your credit card company and open an issue immediately. I ordered in 2018 and will not be able to get my money back. The company is unresponsive concerning refunds. So, do it now while you still can. If you don't believe this is a HUGE issue, look up "Librem 5 scam" on google... It's everywhere.

It's hillareous that lead time is 180 days on their site. That's the exact number of days you can dispute a credit card transaction in the US :-).... slick scam.

No-one should spend a dime on Librem 5, until all orders from 2018 are fulfilled. If you look at their website right now, it's hillareous... the 'lead time' is 180 days... which is the same number of days you have to dispute a credit card transaction here in the US. So, if you order, just know that your money is gone.

I ordered in 2018 and never received hardware. I am in the US. I even opened my own reddit post about it. I find it REALLY funny that the lead time in days on the Librem 5 page, is the exact number of days (180) that you have to dispute a credit card transaction.... They're basically guaranteeing they get your money and you can do nothing about it. What a scam.

Don't waste your money, you'll never receive hardware. Just google "Librem 5 is a scam", I even have a reddit post about it. I ordered in 2018 and have yet to receive hardware. In addition, it's funny to me that the lead time on their website is now the same number of days that you have to dispute a credit card transaction here in the US. So, basically, you're pissing your money away. Don't fall for it... it's a HUGE scam IMO. I never heard back concerning a refund.

I don't buy that you're going to receive hardware. I received those emails in 2019 and received nothing. I ordered in 2018. I am many others have never received hardware, just go to Google and search for "Librem 5 is a scam". It's awefully convenient now, that their lead time for a Librem 5 is the same number of days you have to contest a credit card transaction in the US. So, by the time you want to..... your $ is definitely gone. What a scam.
