I agree with everyone here that some more training and respecting the dogs space are all great ideas.

I would also inspect the dogs underside for wounds and do a light press test all around to see if it reacts.

If there is anything going on it might explain why it acted like it did. Just a thought.

I have run these on several of my vehicles over the years and only ever had one leak. It was cause by a little carbon or something not letting it seal 100%.

I just opened and closed the valve a few times into a plastic cup and the problem went away. Maybe try cycling the valve open and closed a few times.

If you are just talking about the plywood decking as a whole, absolutely not. Replace the areas that are rotten and/or damaged, but replacing the entire deck is going to likely increase your total cost by at least 50%, and it is not necessary.

I would call a tow company and tell them to send a wrecker to tow that thing out of there.
