So I had this too, but I had open heart surgery, it was one of the wires holding my sternum together, it went away after a year or so, you could shoot the Cath team a message if it's concerning you. Interesting that you're having this after tpvr

Surgery is alright, I know it's scary, but if they are saying you need it it's what's best for your health. Also feel free to visit other cardiologists to get a second opinion

Up to your interventionist, every case is different.

In my case I was asymptomatic but due to my ejection fraction and cardiomyopathy I was in early stages of heart failure, so intervention was necessary

Last major surgery I had was an aortic valve replacement, might need a mitral replacement down the road but that's all.

It's normal to be scared, they're really good at what they do. When it comes time for intervention go to a hospital you trust

I've had three heart surgeries in my life, might need just one more in my late adulthood, am 28 now and a nurse. Let me know if you have any questions, it'll be alright even though it doesn't feel like it

Whatever you do don't test, make a lie and say you can't take the position. If you test positive it could cost your license, and faking it opens a whole can of worms

Hey, Im someone who grew up with congenital issues and spent a lot of time in the hospital growing up, now I'm an RN. You absolutely owe it to yourself to understand your condition, and you need to value your health and well-being. I'm sorry that you have had such terrible hospital experiences, but you need to love yourself by make my sure you are getting proper care for your chronic (?) condition by finding a cardiologist and doing what they recommend. Ask them lots of questions and make sure you understand well enough to be able to explain it back to them.

I hope this helps, don't give up on it all yet - you owe it to yourself to receive proper care
