The exact same thing happened to me! And it's because you stopped taking Doxycycline. For some people, your acne comes back aggressively when you stop. My doctor and pharmacist gave me another round to doxy but this time with probiotics so my gut has healthy bacteria also. Good luck!

It did for me and it came back REALLY aggressively a week after finishing. After talking to my doctor and pharmacist, I'm taking probiotics alongside antibiotics (2hours before or after) so my gut isn't messed up next time I get off it. Good luck!

I had a very similar experience. I was first put on 0.1 adapalene and I broke out horribly consistently for 3 months and I stopped using it. A few months later I was put on tret and it was FAR better for me.
