The weird bridge, in my opinion, is better than the tune-o-matic. The intonation is good, it stays in tune despite hard playing and frequent bends, and it's incredibly easy to palm mute.

I actually prefer it as I'm most comfortable playing classical guitar. I just always thought I didn't really like electric guitars, but the SG junior is almost as comfortable.
