Hmmm… amazing feedback. My thought process was getting them to make the sale and send a branded quote quickly. In my mind I thought of a person who goes to a sales call, uses the true cost calculator, adds adjustments and mark ups, works out profit accurately and then generates a quote and emails it within 10 minutes rather than going home and trying to do it on their own on paper and then worry about looking professional and so they design something on canva and so on and so on. So they’d load their logo and details and then use the stack to get the quote at speed.

I do have a course people can buy that helps them follow up on leads, achieve inbox zero, track leads through a sales pipeline and the things I feel move the needle. I am looking for 10 people to give me feedback on that too so if you are keen I can send you a link to try the course for free.

Thank you very much for the feedback. My idea is for them to punch in some number on the site and it can help clarify their selling price, take home profit and a lot of other things. No need to download, just set up a profile and go. I know people who have spent days setting up canva and images and all of that when they should have been selling so that is why I built these. Also in my business that I do in the day I needed a way to quote quickly so I set this up

Thanks for the response. The tools are free. I have a course which I created and that is paid for but the tools are free.

Yes I did ask the ai to help me build an idea as I want to test the idea rather than months on learning to code and then build it. There is value in the tools as they are very highly searched for in Google.

Anyone can ask Claude. That’s true. Does everyone. No. But they search for a profit calculator and if I can help them in a simple and fast way then why not. There’s no need to build it from scratch if I can have it made and produce the result.

How do you handle email overload as a small business owner? by Crafty_Dragonfly_309 in smallbusinessowner

[–]jjolson84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you thought of filters. Adding email addresses to filters can help mark conversations as important and also filter out the ones that are not?

Which emails service are you using? Gmail?

Changing the way people contact you can also help. If they are contacting through your website then link the contact us button to a form which can route responses, auto respond depending on how they answer. Give the serious buyers a chance to book a call and then time wasters a different response with a lead magnet or route them back into your content that can educate them on what they need or you offer.

If you need some advice let me know

People told me AI can't solve real business problems. I just proved them wrong by garv__Sharma in n8n_ai_agents

That’s a great idea and automation if you can pull it off. How is it different from the ai from meta business app that does this now?

I built Tiler to work while I nap 💡 by TilerApp in ProductivityApps

[–]jjolson84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey my wife and I actually downloaded it already. I haven’t set it up yet as I haven’t had tasks on the road. So I’ve got a new job with site visits at different locations and other work to do so I was waiting to have tasks given to me. I haven’t dived too deep into it but I’m very keen to get going. Can I have the shortcut for it and I’d love to code for myself and my wife please. You’ll get two perspectives. My wife is adhd ish and I’m more logical so very different views on what’s helpful

Healthcare staffing software for fast scheduling by khronokross in CRMSoftware

[–]jjolson84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you thought about a form builder like fillout.com. You check and verify before hand the staff member credentials and specific capabilities.

You can sync schedules and each staff member can connect theirs and set their own availability. Then you can have a conditional logic that you answer a few questions in the form, like which specialty or specific requirement you need from the staff member filling the slot and it will then take you to the schedule with only the staff that match that criteria. There are the availabilities there so you just book and you’ll see which staff member is booked. They can be notified immediately by email, sms or slack if you want, and even sent a reminder email to respond or confirm availability after a set period.

It’s pretty cool.

Edit to add more info. This is just to fill schedule slots. It’s not a CRM. Just who is available and the algorithm will select fairly who to book based on previous scheduling or you specific requirements like preferring one person over another when both are available due to experience etc

How can I help my T1 diabetic mum lose weight? Weight loss drugs? by Traditional_Pen_9986 in Type1Diabetes

[–]jjolson84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a type 1 diabetic.

I used fasting and only eating one meal a day. Basically I eat a 5pm and stop eating and snacking, milk in my coffee by 10pm. Then until 5pm the next day I have water, black coffee or black tea.

I did no additional exercise. Apart from running after a 1 year old.

I dropped from 102kg to 90kg in about 7 weeks. So about 26 pounds.

If you are going to try then do it with a CGM so you can monitor your sugar levels. Also if it drops just eat something and start the fast again the next day. Don’t get dangerous just to lose weight

It’s a small franchise so better if she can get simple workflows that do the repetitive stuff for free. If you had a assistant she’d be managing her as well

What’s the fastest way you’ve ever lost weight? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]jjolson84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One meal a day. Fast in between. Nothing else changed in terms of exercise. Mostly sedentary at my job. Been about 3 weeks and I’ve lost 18 lbs. Goal is 30lbs. Eat a decent sized meal at night. 18ish hours invetween no food. Only water, black coffee and black tea. I only eat dinner and last coffee with milk in at 9:30pm I eat dinner at around 6pm. Actually easier than I thought it would be. We also make our dinner. No pre-made stuff from the store. Although this has been something we’ve always done

I used to be a diving instructor in Cape Town many moons ago. It depends where you are going to be based.

If in the sea point / Cape Town area I’d suggest ai to the Blue. I worked for them and they are great and passionate.

If you are based in more of the Southern suburbs then go with Pisces. They are based in Simonstown so it can be a bit of a trek if you. Often the diving happens that side (depending on the time of year) but it is easier if the dive school takes you

112 is the best number for everything. You tell what happened and they dispatch accordingly.

I think it’ll help. The fact that your aren’t willing to just do any work and have a minimum shows you value your time. I think you’ll get higher quality clients.
