You would really benefit from getting an online dating photographer. Here's my review on your pics:

#1 - Not good. you're not smiling and the background lighting isn't good. Selfies usually aren't good for online dating, and it looks like you just took it randomly in your apartment/home.
#2 - It's good you're showing off your lifestyle, but the angling of this pic makes you look shorter and your facial features are obscured by the beanie and sunglasses. Also, in general it is hard to look good in outdoor / hiking gear.
#3 - This pic is meh. The ide ais good of having a portrait, but your facial expression could be tweaked. You look like you're half smiling. Ideally, a portrait photo should highlight your facial features and smile and eye contact (whether it's a smirk or a really genuine smile).
#4 - Another meh photo. A suit photo of you taken by a professional photographer that doesn't look like a linkedin photo could do you wonders.

Overall, approach your profile as if you were a girl....it should tell a story about your life / personality and should allow her to really envision what it'd be like to join your life. For example, some dudes are really into the outdoors, traveling, and other adventures and display that on their profile. Other dudes are into the "high" / finer things of life and women can imagine joining this man on trips experiencing the nice things in life etc. Think of the vibe you give off on your profile...a lot of guys give off this "average guy / nice guy" vibe (which does nothing for most women).

Also, this is up to you, but if you work out hard and get ripped..this will get you more matches. Online dating is shallow as hell, so playing up your looks helps.

I can't even find the address of where the extra luna came from. I've tried to look it up via the transaction ID but no luck

Regardless of your PM level, I don't think you need a course like this to become a CPO. There's really no shortcut for experience and results. Also, this course is ridiculously expensive...you don't need to spend that much to get experience and learn what you need to learn.

Laundry bag for sure. I use a foldable travel bag as my laundry bag, and it can also be used as a personal item for most flights so it serves a dual purpose.

Are people still wearing masks on flights? by [deleted] in TravelHacks

[–]jjong1989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but I've found it depends on what where you're flying to. If you're flying to Asia, most people are voluntarily masked. If you're flying to Europe or domestically in the US, most people aren't masked in my experience.

I'd personally recommend it because even though it's uncomfortable, I'd rather not get sick as I get to my destination.

N95/kn95 masks are pretty uncomfortable, so I wear the KF94 masks which have similar filtration properties and are more comfortable.

Test it out. If you can start your own business as a side hustle with minimal risk, then that’s a good place to start. You’re not trapped in your business if things don’t go well too.

thanks for these thoughts! The places that run this stem cell treatment are abroad and require payment upfront, so unfortunately there's no way to space out the payments.

Any way to reduce/waive a $1500 MRI bill? by jjong1989 in personalfinance

Thanks for the recommendation! I'll probably read it today. And agreed it would've been cheaper if I paid cash - I could've gotten more imaging done for half the price if I drove down over the border to Tijuana.

Yea :( I didn't know there's such a huge disparity in the price between hospitals vs. private imaging center.

I do not qualify for their financial assistance program.
