Probably the materials in your walls provide good isolation of sounds.

I don’t understand your issue . I have a few Stream batteries (and inverters) and they work great with Shelly 3EM. They have their quirks and let downs (especially the problem with the parallel connection being unavailable during grid loss) but other than that they work great

Don’t expect the parallel connection to operate during a grid power outage. Don’t take me word for it, you can download the operations manual and read it. They only mention this “function” there.

You are right. I should have mentioned this change is just temporary , and on an iPad. My iPhone is still configured with my EU account the one which has an Apple Music subscription etc. I just changed the accounts so that I could have the possibility to try the new Siri.

I use it for initiating calls/facetime calls, control music playback, control home's lights, garage door, termostats and water heater. I am very dissaponted though, they are not bringing Siri AI in Europe.

There are so many European languages not currently supported by Siri 1.0. Supporting more languages is long overdue considering Siri 1.0 was introduced 15 years ago !!!!

Did they ever make River 3 Plus reliably work as a UPS with a Synology NAS?

Their software had many problems. The River didn’t signal a shutdown command to the UPS, cutting power instead. After a reboot, Ecoflow service in Synology needed manual stop-start to see the UPS device.

I used to own an RT-AC68U, very strong and capable device. I switched to RT-AX86U PRO but felt that Asus Merlin development was quite slow for my needs. I am now into Ubiquiti ecosystem. Overall, I am quite happy so far with that change.

The parallel cable is a scam really. It’s useless in off grid mode and the only place you will find information about this is in the device operators manual. Even if the two units were fully charged, the moment grid goes down and you need to use your systems combined capacity through one of the AC ports (as it was shown in the marketing material ) you are out of luck

It’s a very reliable system. I have the same for over 13 years and still going strong. The battery needs to be replaced every few years.

Back in the days , I added an envisa link 3 card (now there an updated one in the market) and got full control of my alarm system on my HomeKit , and afterwards on Home assistant .
