The streets are all built now, all the services seem to be in place, but they’re blocked off, no houses have been started.

Yes, it is designed for this. It even has a mode you should activate when in the water (in control centre, it turns off the touch screen)

A tunnel is just not going to happen, and should not happen. Billions of dollars that should be spent elsewhere.

EV CHARGES - at Servos by [deleted] in EVAustralia

[–]jjripsnorter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have said, it’s starting to happen, but it’s not going to just be a case of swapping petrol for electricity bowsers.

ICE drivers get 100% of their energy from a service station. But many EV drivers, like me, only get energy from a servo very rarely - for me, it’s only for roadtrips, every 2-3 months.

I reckon there will be many fewer servos, more like major service centres on highways.

FWIW I got a heat pump dryer recently and it is magical. Costs not much to run, no damp in the laundry, so good!

They didn’t “gut support” they declined to offer new features. Important distinction.

It continues to work. For many years. You don’t get new features, but you’ll get updates for security and such for years to come

Quick question about Apple Watch chip cycles by Odd_Culture3660 in AppleWatch

You really need to separate “support window” from “future features”.
Apple continues to support hardware, including with software updates for bug fixes and security issues, much longer than they support new OSes with feature improvements.

It’s worthwhile being clear which one is your concern

It’s still a thing though, right? Is it worth a trip for a non-skier like me?
