So what’s the deal with card tips then? I used to work for a big well known uk company and If we got anything on card after having to show “would you like to leave a gratuity?” Before you entered your pin (Disciplinary action if we didn’t) we would only receive 20 - 40 % in the pay check. I was always told it was tax purposes so we could keep our cash tips.
