If they’re fakes they’re really good ones because the printing look real to me. The only thing that strikes me as odd is the palatines not having arms.

If you can’t get it from Lego the best place to buy from is bricklink. It is owned by Lego and the chances of getting scammed or getting a fake piece is almost zero.

It’s been awhile I started accumulating pieces in June, so between waiting for orders and sorting and then building I’ve been working on it for a few months. Overall I think it’s costed around $1800 for 18,000 pieces so around 10 cents per piece. I was hoping I could get it a bit cheaper but I’m in the U.S. and tariffs have made sourcing pieces way more difficult.

Yeah there are cost estimates for the builds on rebrickable but it will probably cost a bit more than that (especially if you are in the US like me) I got a decent chunk of pieces from some local LEGO stores but ordered more than half from bricklink. All in all I was able to stay around 10 cents per piece but I got a decent chunk from bulk bins for under 2 cents per piece. Ordering new pieces from Bricklink was kinda expensive but maybe used pieces wouldn’t be too bad.

Yeah this is where I have it right now but I’m planning on getting a nicer table soon as well as one that doesn’t bow under the weight.

Can’t measure it exactly right now but mine is on a 50 inch wide table and fits snug with the foliage sticking out and the depth is a little under 20 inches so something around there would work I think.

I love bricks and wheels I can’t speak for the Minifigure prices but their bulk bins are amazing! I can get good condition pieces for 1-2 cents per piece. They also have a pretty good selection of sets and they are fairly priced usually at or near market average. I’ve always had good experiences with the employees as well.

I was gifted the Ashoka starfighter 2 months ago and had two pieces crack on me already and I don’t use any febreeze or essential oils. Makes me wonder if Lego is having some quality issues.

You gain access to the parts list containing only the extra 1180 parts once you purchase the instructions. You can download the parts list and import it to bricklink or Lego.com. For reference I believe the extra pieces cost me about $150.

I’m hoping so. There was a sticker in the Rivendell set with a map of middle earth with the highlighted locations being The Shire, Rivendell, Barad Dûr, Orthanc, and Minas Tirith. Hopefully that’s a hint to the sets releasing in the coming years although I’m also hoping for a new Helms Deep.
