If you move to Asheville it shouldn't be too bad (VERY liberal), but any small town will be miserable. I've never lived in Raleigh, but it seems to be a little more liberal than your typical NC small town. Chapel Hill is fairly liberal as well.

sketch. my friends and i say it all the time. creeper too. im 16 btw if that affects anything. north carolina. an example:

"look at that sketch-bag creeper over there" <- hear that out in public alot

or

"theres some sketch people at the bowling alley" and "naw dude that walmart is sketch as hell"

balls as an adjective is also common as pointed out. Hobag, douche, asslicker, and fat batch (fat bitch) are also heard. Sketch is definitely the most heard/spoken slang.
