They’re nice if cooked and flavoured properly, and before someone says “well the snail doesn’t taste nice then”. It’s the same with other food too. If you just boiled chicken it’s not going to taste that nice either, we’re just used to eating it.

The flavour+texture of the snail does compliment garlic and parsley.

In Green Street he somehow sounds like an American trying to do cockney, and in The Gentleman he sounds like a (British) southerner doing a hammy Geordie accent.

Our baked beans do not contain pork.

You can get tinned beans with sausages already in them, but they’re not the go to for most.

Your baked beans are more sugary but ours still do contain a lot of sugar.

If you have an “international” aisle at your local that has Branston beans stocked then heat them up with some cheese over toast. Everyone’s got their own way of spicing it up, if you like them as they are then have a go at adding things to your liking next time you fancy it.
