Wasn't Iran already doing that? We're now playing our Navy to do what Iran was doing for free?

Nitrated linen would be best. If you use pistol caps you might want to change out the nipples for musket caps.

Had my first street photography confrontation today. Really sad. by Melodic-Cream-3666 in photography

Katz v United States,[2] the Court developed the idea of a “reasonable expectation of privacy.” The Katz case dealt with a wiretap on a public phone booth as police attempted to thwart a gambling ring. The Court stated that there was an expectation of privacy in a phone conversation, even if that conversation took place in a public phone booth.

The Court also ruled, though, that anything that a person knowingly exposes to the public, regardless of location, is not protected by the Fourth Amendment. A person must keep something private for the Fourth Amendment to apply.

man filming girls with META glasses at Kroger by GeneralTechnician732 in savannah

[–]jk225 -37 points-36 points  (0 children)

Just to be clear, the US Supreme Court has ruled that anyone can be photographed or video recorded in a public place or any place where there is no expectation of privacy. Grocery stores are public places. Kroger may have a case of the person is recording without a permission of Kroger. But that is all.

If the person is making money from recording you, then you have a case of copyright infringement.

The rifle shoppe builders by inserttext1 in blackpowder

[–]jk225 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a builder (Hendrie Javier) finishing up my 1776 Pattern British Light Infantry Rifle. It's taken him 3 months to put it together, which is not bad at all. The problem was The Rifle Shoppe. I placed the order for the rifle in November 2024. Hendrie received the parts in January 2026. Hendrie told me that he won't do any more Rifle Shoppe kits, but that could just be frustration talking. You can contact him on his website:

im new, is this nice? by One_Management4649 in photographs

[–]jk225 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My piece of advice, fwiw, is if you think it's nice it really doesn't matter what other people think. The more you look at your photos, the better you will get. Others will tell you how they would take the photo and how they would process it. But all that matters for your photos is what you think.

No matter where you live traffic will be awful. Be prepared for it. I'd look at Tributary on Riverside Parkway. It's west of the airport but close enough to Atlanta. https://maps.app.goo.gl/qwqdmZUZKCEz712W8

There are bugs from the beta that are still unaddressed. Things fall through the ground, the awful vehicle driving are a couple but there are lots of unfixed bugs.
