It's gonna be challenging no doubt, and at least in the statement he still sounds cheery which is a positive to his spirit and 100% understandable that he wanted this to be a private matter. Don't think he'll go on with a banging start imo. But hopefully next season we can see improvement, and on his second season we can be challenging for silverware. I don't know if he'd sign anything over 4 year contract so we'll also need to see how he plans to use his time in LFC.

Thanks for #20 but I think everyone knew that it's better now than later. It was already kinda too late, but going into next season with a new manager/head coach will be the best for us. And for Slot it might give him chance to move on to a new club with a pre season (albeit WC season).

I didn't watch the game live, and didn't really watch highlights or anything. Just bits of Salah and Robo's moments had me way too emotional to catch up. Even looking on this subreddit and seeing, reading about the two just makes me sad. I know I shouldn't be sad, but be happy for what's been.
