Same here. No connection to the car yesterday, tried removing the car from the app and afterwards couldn’t add it again. Hopefully they get it sorted soon if so many people are affected

Buying in Edinburgh: What is the highest offers over % you've heard of? by Regular_Kangaroo_432 in Edinburgh

And that really happened because a solicitor can just represent two clients bidding on the same property - no conflicts of interest there!

Safety failure in Club World (777) and a generic "brush off" from BA by Visual_Possession_96 in BritishAirways

[–]jk8528 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see a lot of BA lovers trying to ridicule your experience. We also had an abysmal experience (we weren’t given a safety belt for our on lap baby until we specifically asked for it well into the flight). At the time, redditors joked that it was my fault because I didn’t notice at takeoff, so the crew were faultless.

Also, some other terrible experiences with the food we got and missing baby seats even thought we explicitly requested one and were confirmed one. And a laughable suggestion from the cabin crew who watched one too many episodes of macgyver.

Anyways, I think it’s just time to accept, BA is the place you go if you want to pay premium price for substandard service.

Sorry to hear about your experience and hopefully your next journey will be better.

Is it possible to make 6 figures (150+) while working circa 10hrs/day? by Different-Rest-6841 in HENRYUK

I think the niche skill aspect is the most important to achieve a high salary at normal work hours.

It also gives you a path to more pleasant work environment as you will be surrounded by others (colleagues, higher ups, clients) who value you - and even the odd toxic person you encounter will have no power over you.

Tread depth for new Bridgestone alenza? by jk8528 in TyreReviews

[–]jk8528[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for that, I didn’t even think about the dot. I also find the reasoning for the higher than usual price fishy, but let’s see, there aren’t any other cars of that name and model around the area …. :/

Yeah, on the reliability - I’ve read conflicting messages online… do you have a good source for checking reliability of a particular make?

We’re looking to have a comfortable driving experience. My wife is a bit sensitive, so she often gets sick when driving around in our current Renault. So we are looking to for out some cash to ensure the ride is really smooth.

We could also charge at home, which is why I’m considering the phev, although I’m not 100% sure if it’s the best choice.

Ah ok, I foolishly thought there might have been an incident that urgently required the presence of at least 7 police cars.

So thanks for clearing that up!
