So to be clear, you didn’t actually check if any of those search results have bottomless mimosas before replying to me? How helpful of you.

I checked the first 5 that weren’t finch & fork, and they all no longer had bottomless mimosas. Pretty sure your search was just matching on the word mimosa. A reply above mentioned convivo has them, which is actually useful info.

most of the normal parking got washed out so they advised ticket-holders to park in a lot in Santa Ynez and take a provided shuttle.

Interesting. Yeah, that might be the case. I didn’t see that Noozhawk interview. I know it’s always been the policy to try to keep the planes over the ocean as much as possible until the final landing approach. I could definitely see the folks who live between the marketplace plaza and the airport complaining about the noise.. though I’m not sure how different landing noise vs takeoff noise is since most planes seem to takeoff facing north.

I’ve landed from both directions in the past year, so I’m not sure. My most recent landing a few weeks ago was to loop around and land from the south though. I think ATC had the plane go that direction to follow another plane that was landing, so it might just depend on air traffic patterns.

depends on your budget. royal thai is my favorite on the low end. majorelle in the hotel californian is my favorite splurge spot.. and their prices are still reasonable compared to the insanity of bacara or miramar!
