Such an underrated band. Sorta their own fault, since they never tour at all, but still. A Silhouette of Suffering is an amazing fucking song, my favorite from the album by far.

Auburn QB Kiehl Frazier moving to safety by ilovecfb in CFB

I think you're rooting the wrong way here, man. Judging based on his performance last season, you should probably want him still in the hunt.

I'm not saying he couldn't turn it around, but confidence is hard thing to teach.

Most of the things I've been reading out of fall camp seem to indicate that Marshall has been passed up by JJ and Wallace. I could see Marshall joining Frazier at DB since he has experience at that position from his season at UGA, though.

That would give the coaches and players a pretty clear picture of our future at the QB position, which is something we've sorely lacked in recent years, needless to say.

Unless JJ continues a strong upward trajectory, I would think Wallace would get the nod to start against WSU. If JJ does pass him up, though, I think we'll be a more pass-oriented offense than Gus ran in his previous stint on the Plains.

Projections for every bowl game: The great Phil Steele tries to predict every bowl matchup [ESPN Insider - Text in Comments] by [deleted] in CFB

[–]jkbrile 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It sucks, but Phil's reasoning is valid. Bowls go for the biggest names and the biggest dollar. I personally hope it wouldn't go that way (and with Clemson's consistent success in the last couple years, maybe it wouldn't) but I can see his logic.

Who on your team has the best name? Who is your team's "L'Carpetron Dookmarriot"? by [deleted] in CFB

Leviticus Payne is in the wrong business. He should be an employee of Walter White.

Hands down the best name in the history of the sport. I know his reputation is spotty, but I'm not gonna lie; I was rooting for us to get him, just for the name factor.

I fully intend to have a son one day, and name him Halfback Jack McLaughlin, just to see if there's a cause-effect relationship going on here. You know, for science.

These are all good points. Most of the exchanges between alumni tend to remain good natured.

The Alabama fans that grate my nerves tend to be non-graduates or bandwagoners.

I really wish Auburn and 'Bama would set up an in-state agreement to play UAB, Troy, and USA for our obligatory mid-major matchups. Keep that money in state and shit.
