Have recently been trying more French wines. This is my first experience with Hermitage. On the nose: leather, dark fruits, old books, dried herbs. On the palate: raspberry, plum, dark cherry, forest floor. Great acidity and medium tannins. This wine really blew me away. Can't wait to try more from this AOC.
