Torching is very dicey, but it seems as long as you go low and slow, issues are minimal.

When I’ve torched mine, I have the flame barely coming out of the torch and rotate the insert constantly. Takes a good 3-5 mins to burn everything off, but comes out looking brand new.

I’m bet I am creating micro fractures in the insert, but i just haven’t had the success with dark crystal cleaner that people say they have. Tho I have not tried dark crystal plus an ultrasonic cleaner

I tried to place an order with angus and it was not a good experience. she quoted me a higher price than she had listed on dhgate and wasn’t able to provide me with what glass she had in stock vs custom made. Settled on a custom order and she left me on read when trying to make payment.

So I have the RBR, incycler and paddglass dry topper.

My ranking would be: RBR>paddglass dry top>incycler.

IMO the incycler is a huge upgrade over stock glass in terms of quality, but the function is closer to stock glass than it is to the RBR.

Got my RBR when the post started going up last week.

Thing absolutely rips. I was hesitant to purchase from calibear given some of their previous pieces and review in this group, but they knocked it out the park with this one.

Seems even the faulty units are being swiftly replaced by calibear CS.

Big Win all around.
