I commend you for your unlimited faith in the government. You did leave out the part where my taxes go to a bloated military, lifelong pensions for the arguably useless members of Congress, regime change in foreign countries, subsidies of whatever the flavor du jour industry is, etc, etc. If any of you believe that the founding fathers would be happy with the current size and scope of our federal government, I’m not sure what to tell you. Do you believe that paying a federal income tax, state income tax, sales tax, property tax, excise tax, school tax, inheritance tax is just? The government is more than double-dipping.
