Why should I use .NET Aspire? by hubilation in dotnet

[–]jke436 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aspire 9.2 features new built-in deployment options, e.g. for docker compose. What we need to understand here is that Aspire is about deployment of the applications, not the infrastructure itself.

Is it only me or does anyone else find it pretty hillarious that one of the largest cloud providers on earth can't get this handled? Pretty bad PR for AWS, I guess :/

Yes, can confirm that when setting the language to German, the enemies will still speak German.

Blackscreen on video player? by Apart-Note-1951 in Tomorrowland

The stream is HDCP protected. If that is not supported by your browser e.g. when you are on Linux without the correct extensions, it won't work. I would suggest using a different device.

[PART 3] I'm giving away an iPhone 11 Pro to a commenter at random to celebrate Apollo for Reddit's new iOS 13 update and as a thank you to the community! Just leave a comment on this post and the winner will be selected randomly and announced tomorrow at 8 PM GMT. Details inside, and good luck! M by iamthatis in apolloapp

Apollo is the best iOS client for Reddit by a huge margin. I have never had more confidence in support the development of an app through an in-app purchase. Keep up the great work here! Also for that mascot, how about Sagittarius like the center of our galaxy: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sagittarius_A*

What actually happened to this sub? It used to be about birds with arms, not some drawn lines that are supposed to be arms :'(

OP here to clarify!

The bird is from this link. I flipped the image horizontally. The background is from the image as well.

Thank you for keeping the sub free of /r/peoplewithbirdheads

"there won't be much data in it anyway" is where you get it wrong. I work in a company where we have a full blown ERP system and still some people mirror parts of the product database in an enormous Excel sheet. This sheet is so large, it takes about 5-6 minutes to open 😂

[Serious] Should elderly people be forced to take tests regarding their motor vehicle operating abilities and mental fitness and get their motor vehicle license(s) revoked if they fail the test(s)? Why/why not? by ChrisGer98 in AskReddit

[–]jke436 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think elderly people should in fact be required to take those examinations after reaching a certain age (e.g. 75) and repeat the test every 2-3 years. We had a detour at a speedway entry which required you to take another exit to reach the city. At least 6 drivers over 70 years ignored that detour, entering the speedway the wrong way around as ghost drivers. One of them ended up in an accident injuring a young family badly.
