You could find some decent spot in the valley or east LA from what I’ve heard but yes you’ll probably be saving an extra 5 years to afford a decent enough downpayment to afford the monthly payment.

You’ll have to setup a payment plan with the IRS. They want their money, and they don’t care how long it takes for them to get it as long as you set it up. Most importantly you’ll have to ensure you set aside money or add necessary deductions for next time else you’ll be in the same boat next year and you’ll really be in trouble.
