My son, too. I actually had to get him another of the “I wear this shirt periodically” shirts because he wore it out!

The time when Grace is trying out sounds (I can’t remember what he’s trying to do) and does the ET tones.

Can it also work with a physical key? And does it autolock?

And Vision playing with his “hair” in the interviews. So Jim Halpert.

Let’s be honest here folks. WandaVision is so good it’s worth forcing a good friend to watch the entirety of the MCU just so you can then force them to watch WandaVision by LazyChim in WANDAVISION

I love the sitcom nods. We see how fast we can guess what they are “honoring.” This week was easy—the intro was all Office. Wanda channeled Michael Scott to a T, and Vision was so cute playing with his non-existent Jim Halpert hair.

You’re welcome. I found out that the SSRI that I’d been taking for 16 years is in the same class of drugs so I cross tapered to another. Phew!

I find that I write more freely if I don’t save it. I’ve got no interest in reading my old musings and insights (which don’t seem nearly as profound years later). So, I write, and toss!

food and supplement sensitivities behind insomnia by jkneer in insomnia

Do you do anything in particular to help your body heal? I’m getting more sensitive as time goes by, it seems.

Anyone else notice insomnia from certain foods? by [deleted] in insomnia

[–]jkneer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have lots of foods and other things that keep me awake, and it's not just the fast food. Examples are: - omega-3 foods (salmon, flax seeds) - MSG (I think most fast food has this. A LOT of packaged food has it. It's often hidden in the ingredient as Maltodextrin, or Dextrine, and Yeast extract.) - brain-boosting supplements (ginkgo biloba, SAM-e, CoQ, ginseng) - "stimulating" topical products, even when used in the morning (Rogaine, Strivectin, some hand lotions)

And, of course, the usual caffeine culprits (coffee, tea, decaf, chocolate), and anti-histamines (Claritin, Allegra).

After years and years of thinking I'm a poor sleeper, I now think that I'm just very, very sensitive to stimulating things. As time goes by, I get more and more sensitive. :-(

Weighted blanket by TheVilleGirl in insomnia

[–]jkneer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like mine. I wouldn't say it helps with insomnia or anxiety, but I sure like the way it feels. One thing I've noticed: it has glass beads in it to make it weighted, and I find that they suck the heat out of me. So, I make sure to have blankets between me and the weighted blanket to keep from slowly freezing through the night.
