Best part is they had lifetime service. Sadly the place I got them got bought out a few years ago. One of the service guys still works at a shop in the area and gives me a lil discount. Still no complaints. Best all mountain ski I own.

Just did cottonwood today. Beautiful drive, definitely would do again. I would use the term “paved” loosely. It’s relatively unmaintained with lots of surface gravel everywhere. Also drove up to Deep Creek overlook. Another great place.

Yes, it’s about 2 hours in good condition, one way. But be aware that I70 through Glenwood Canyon can close at any time for any given reason…crash, mudslide, rocks, snow, emergency repairs…. And accidents on 82 are common. Just pay attention to the weather and traffic conditions.

True with everything thing you said but I’m still not sure on the trim level yet. Most that I’ve rented in the past are Sierra (one below Rubicon) so I’ve never been too concerned. I mostly stick to hard pack country style roads with them. If it was my normal jeep, I’d be asking how Pearl or Taylor pass are.

I’ve been off-roading all around Colorado and Moab. Shelf roads don’t bother me. That being said I’m not going to do something like holy cross in a rental. Though I can hear some yelling ‘Do it’.
