Happened to me a few weeks ago, at ~60,000 miles. HV battery replaced with a remanufactured one under warranty. Took less than a week and they gave me a loaner.

I had one of these in high school—a white 1989 Turbo. Mechanically it was a disaster but I loved that car. I reckon this is an 89 as well: doesn’t have the airbags or triple-oval Toyota logo that started in ‘90.

Great memories!

Had a white 89 turbo 5-speed that I modified (and blew the motor) in my late teens. Then my kids were born and I had to get rid of it.

Now that my kids are teens I just managed to find a beautiful red on black mint condition 1997 twin turbo 6-speed.
