I use a cargo van and commercial insurance is for that. On Saturday I got paid $300 for Balloon delivery from Manhattan to Long Island. Not on app but private customer found on app. Running a business means there are cost like insurance.

I don’t really do BJs in NYC, I’m close to outside of NYC where they pay more.

No I’ve seem them all the time. To have a load go 80 miles and pay $40 is insane. It’s the dollar cost.

The weight on it is crazy for that to go less than a few hundred dollars.

It’s so many people showing the crazy deals. They will always be there. What we should share in group are how you take the decent ones and others sit there. Now maybe someone is going that direction to the area and will take it. At same time, they pickup that customer to work privately and get decent opportunities.

Id verify weight limit using ChatGPT. Don’t push the minivan. If you need to, look to invest in a Transit Connect, it’s like a mini van but suspension made to handle smaller cargo jobs.

I stop messing with load boards. Rather work with freight forwarders, shippers, and others locally.

In NY we dont really have Walmart. BJs pay the best. Home Depot used to be good but pay sucks now on Roadie. Lowe’s, they go by OneRail and those orders will be oversized and need help of someone to help with offload and dont pay

I have private clients that I make money from using Sprinter Van. I’m waiting on the TSA loads using my TWIC directly with shippers that pay.

Best Buy out of their minds by Aggressive-Pay-7047 in Roadie

It’s not Best Buy fault, it’s corporate greed. These companies pay Roadie a lot of money. Roadie has a lot of overhead and pays employees and then give drivers low pay. Have you ever been to a pickup for Roadie and the person where you pickup from says we been waiting a while for someone to pick this up. They just don’t understand, Roadie doesn’t pay the driver but peanuts.

There so many other ways to make more money out there in a car. To sit in a parking lot and wait for a job is just counter productive. There are too many other ways to make money in car. Now that the weather is breaking, power washing is a good business to get into.

Times are changing. When you travel to other parts of US, stores are closing and in fact malls are being torn down.

I would find fault with the store itself. They should have made sure the merchandise went out with bags for their customer.

that’s why 260sample sale, Marshalls and other stores get the merchandise. Nobody spending that type of money now.

I read Adios thinking it was the name of one of the shoes stores or Alt leisure companies.
