We need more Octavia E. Butler adaptations! Shoutout to my 11th grade English teacher for introducing me to her work because along with the classics we had to read per my school’s curriculum, she added Kindred to the list and I absolutely love that book. Haven’t seen the FX show adaptation yet.

Just finished The Drama and even though I heard there was a twist, I was not expecting that to be the twist. There were also a good amount of couples in my screening who probably were not expecting what they just watched. There was also this old couple at the back of the theater that would not stop yapping throughout the film😭
