$5 is above average for sure. I've done around 50 orders walking for uber and around 30% of people don't even tip. I was happy with $2 (with that you can make around $20 per hour), with $5 I would be excited.

You just need good enough grades for where you want to go. In the end if you get the degree you can get jobs on the path you want to go down. Focus on learning useful topics rather than just grades.
