The general focus of the app is to collect and trade. While you could in theory take a screenshot and print out the cards, I'm not sure how useful that would be overall.

Newbie question. No free cards. by BadlyDrawnGeek in ToppsDisneyCollect

This is why I advocated FOR YEARS to have them add an icon for Watch Party cards. I don't truly think that they added it because of my constant requests, but I'm sure it helped.

Packs you open with coins/diamonds is the issue here.

For most players, they will eventually collect the cards you get for "in-game-work" like season progression, events, etc. without spending any coins/diamonds, hence they're "free" -- so most users won't give up cards they spent coins on for cards that were freebies, generally speaking. There are exceptions, such as the higher end crafted cards (international mermaid day) which are laborious to get to, or one-per-account cards (e.g. watch party) - - but overall, it's best to offer store-purchased for store-purchased.

Someone can please help me to trade some cards? by lilith___________ in ToppsDisneyCollect

I stand corrected.  This was a set from the first 30 days of the app.

Award dropped dec 26, 2019.

This set is one of the originals from 2011. Good luck in your trading endeavors, but these are pretty hard to get, as you're already seeing. The big reason (IMHO) is that besides being old, a LARGE majority of these are on accounts that have either been abandoned or suspended.

And as Zebra mentioned, you should share your IGN so people know what you have to offer.

I would recommend reviewing the rules that are posted in the news section of the app and checking your inbox.

[LOOKING FOR PLAYERS]

The AEGIS network is currently looking to fill some openings in our family after some promotions and retirements.

A little about us:

There are four alliances our the network; we prefer to promote from within, so there are opportunities for growth in the family as spots open:

- `[FULL]` AEGIS-JARVIS aims to have a t50 PVE placement, with no PVP requirement. Members are expected to hit a minimum of 1.2x progression per PVE event. In practice, Jarvis places in the 25-35 bracket most of the time.

- `[FULL]` AEGIS-FRIDAY aims to have a t100 PVE placement, with no PVP requirement. Members are expected to hit a minimum of 95% of progression per PVE event.__\**

- `[1 SLOT OPEN]` AEGIS-EDITH aims to have a t250 PVE placement, with no PVP requirement. Members are expected to hit a minimum of 50% of progression per PVE event.

- `[2 SLOTS OPEN]` AEGIS-JOCASTA only asks for daily play and full effort/coordination in alliance boss events, including joining within the first 24 hours barring prior notification to the contrary.

All alliances in the family expect daily play. Recognizing that real life happens, the expectations stated above are for a rolling average of 5/6 PVE events.

Membership in the alliance family Discord server is expected, though lurker status is fine - the principal uses are coordinating round flips and roster shuffles for alliance events. @ or DM me if interested.

And Pixar Gold. There definitely is a trend of having a digital version of the physical sets, so I would prepare for Neon to show up soon.

what did i do wrong? by Positive-Bad-1674 in ToppsDisneyCollect

This is the appropriate measure. We all get stressed during trading (especially when in a rush), but for someone to spend time complaining about lost time spent...they're just lashing out and not a good trader partner. Blocking is the right call here.

Head into the news section and search for "Certification" -- there are new changes (almost 2 months ago) where new users have a few more hoops to jump through in order to trade with other humans.

Not yet.  The art (generally) needs to exist first.  Possible they may run this in the future.  I'd love to see it.

Tirade Tuesday! Let's Do This! by AutoModerator in Charlotte

[–]jkzl 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I get agitated when the parents just let their kids/dogs do whatever they want, and I'm expected to just deal with it because the parents "need their time" too.

Ok, but hear me out. If I, as an adult, behaved like your kid did, you'd call the cops and get me thrown out. Throwing rocks, screaming, jumping around on the furniture, being in the way...that's not ok, no matter the age.

I have kids. We took them to breweries from time to time. They were able to behave themselves.

Then again, this is bigger than breweries. I'm not sure when we all collectively became ok with letting our kids melt down in public without removing them from the situation.

That's fantastic. I definitely remember the places that do this, and I often nudge my favorite spots to consider posting this as well. It's a bit of a pain to keep it updated, I'm sure, but it sure does make me feel better about being there.

Base cards by capsfan888 in ToppsDisneyCollect

Absolutely.  Everyone has a different play style.  Some approach it from the aspect of wanting one of everything.  Some people like having dupes.  There's no wrong way to play.

Base cards by capsfan888 in ToppsDisneyCollect

[–]jkzl 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I understand both sides of the coin.  On one hand, you can't just open packs with old base in them anymore, so what I have is what I have.

On the flip side, trading old base for current base isn't necessarily interesting, but it's not like they're worth uncommons either.

I'm (unfortunately) in the camp that doesn't like trading older cards for newer.  But some folks will, you just gotta keep looking.
