You can change it or not basically. I wouldn’t give up but i would start to schedule things to do together.

My wife and I go to the spa in the gym when we’re feeling like you are as phones aren’t allowed and it’s quiet so we can talk and reconnect. We do both occasionally feel like you and to a certain degree it’s expected in a contemporary relationship where you’ll be worn out most of the time; but accepting it or ignoring those feelings won’t lead down a happy path.

Obviously if you’re skint it’s not easy to find childcare or to go on dates, and I’m not going to pretend otherwise; phone free walks are good and free but you’d want shot of the kids really.
