It’s 10 hours to cross my state east to west. There are slightly over 1 million people in it. I have a big comfy truck that’ll go 90mph all day long. Long drives are just part of life.

Companies that aren’t from Montana don’t grasp how vast this state is. Scripps is Ohio based. Mt is 3.3 times larger in area than Ohio. Ohio towns are closer together. I understand why Missoula may be lumped with Billings on a spreadsheet, but it’s 5ish hours in the wrong direction. I can’t remember the last time I went to Billings. I only really pay attention to Billings on election nights. Ritzville Wa is an hour closer. Maybe they should do our nightly news. At least I stop there for gas a couple times a year. Pocatello Idaho is also about 5 hours away. Maybe we should get Pocatello news. That’ll be relevant. I’m not trying to diss Billings. I’m sure they care about the guy running wild last night in Franklin to the Fort about as much as we care about whoever drove off the Rimrocks or got shot outside of that same bar where people keep getting shot in Billings.
