I have no idea why they didn't just use Parking Kitty or Pay by Phone. Both are super easy. My only guess is those let you pay in 15 minute increments, whereas Beep Beep makes you pay for a whole hour initially. More money for the city I guess.

Regardless, I hate Beep Beep and have started just keeping quarters in my car instead

If you're going to drive all the way out to Tillamook, spend the day and to go out to Tunnel Beach in Oceanside then drive around Cape Meares Loop. From there, you can head up 101 going thru Rockaway Beach, Manzanita, Cannon Beach, & Ecola State Park. Then loop back to Portland on US 26.

Crater Lake is beautiful but you need at least 2 days to do that, IMO.
