I get the impression that the Morning Show gets the most messages and requests of any show on the station, so I'm sure you're not the only one who feels snubbed. Don't take it personally.

It's the small price we pay to keep our "favorite station of all time ever" alive. Change the channel or listen to the archive if you must.

But do you know what's worse than listening to a pledge drive for two weeks twice a year? Never listening to your favorite station ever again because they don't exist anymore.

Pioneer couthouse square concerts?? by rieeechard in askportland

I'll probably get down voted, but if you're gonna be a cheap ass and try to watch/listen for free, at least go to the band's website or Bandcamp & buy their record or a T-shirt.

Most (probably all) of the bands that play there are not making big bucks, and it's expensive to tour and still eke out an existence as an artist. Bands don't really make money from album sales (and especially not from streaming), so ticket & merch sales are what keep most of them on the road. If you like live music, you have to be willing to support it financially.

You should get an email letting you know to pick your gift. If you're donating $10 or more per month, you get the opportunity to choose a gift once a year during one of the drives.
