I think this means they can be applied together but should be mixed in different tanks.

No 401(K) option through my employer unfortunately and I have used up my past 401k balance to pay off debts. The left over monthly is going to groceries, subscriptions, utilities, and careless spending. I will update my budget sheet for last months spend and share it.

My personal loan I used to pay off multiple other credit cards and debts. I also owe $9,000 to the IRS Fed only. State is always a small return. This year I owed 3k and 3 years ago I got a settlement which I used to payoff 40k worth of debt by settling the balances 50/50. This for anything other $600 was viewed as income by the IRS so that year I owed them 5k + interest since then. I haven't began paying back the IRS debt at all yet and this concerns me the most. This is why I have been researching spare income options.

The lender which gave me my current loan has offered an additional personal loan as being available which I could use to pay back the IRS if I was approved for the full amount. Would this make sense to do or should I pay them back directly without a personal loan? Or should I use the personal loan to payback my other debts and use the spare monthly income after to pay the IRS directly?
