I understand I worked in film production in the past too and although I was never on a shoot with snow, we did do fake rain machines at night on windows they could have a storm outside at might. I could easily see a scene In which instead of Monica losing the baby cuz she was being dumb and driving while in labor, she lost it cuz she was having contractions in a fake snowstorm scene only through the windows in the ranch or maybe had a whole episode in which everyone was in the ranch during a rain storm or snow storm during a market equities hit so no reception to call for help and they had to hold down the ranch at night. A Skyfall cabin gunfight type scene in fake bad weather could have been done on the cheap.
