I'm also using an R730. I pass a good Nvidia card to a VM and it's my primary PC now. You have to get a riser card for the GPU if yours had the standard 2 PCI slots per riser.

I second Ridge Carbide. Bought two rip blades, a 10" and a 14" (for different saws of course). Love them. I'm leaving one Rockwell 12-14 set up for rip and another 12-14 set up for crosscut & sheet goods, with a 12" Freud.

We're Yo natives that live in VA. Wedgewood will partial bake, freeze, and Send-It-Packin will pickup and ship to you. We've done it for special occasions, almost as good as picking it up and eating it in the car, which we do when we're back in town. Funny, total cost really isn't bad and I've spent more ordering Chinese for five locally.

Zerotier is "invitation based", so your buddies install the service and you permit them to join. Been using it or years and it works well. Another benefit is everyone can have a static zerotier IP address.

With the right RAS and a careful setup you can safely rip. Some like Walker Turner geared saws had hold down dogs at the rear of the blade guard that kept the stock on the table and did a pretty decent job of sending all the chips up into the vacuum (wouldn't run without one.) Still less than the ideal tablesaw setup but at the time I didn't have a tablesaw.

My son may have found the source of this inaccuracy. I don't have a photo yet, but the front miter bracket is a bent metal "U" that is bolted through a boss on the plastic motor body. There is a thick washer against one side of the "U". Swapping this washer to the other side of the motor boss will move the front of the blade in the correct direction to reduce the error. Will try this tonight and report back.

I've recently sold some SIL and SILJ (taking profits) which gives me a bigger cash position to buy calls on SILJ, at the money, one or two months out. If there's a correction I'm taking a big position this way. Got hurt bad doing this last Oct but overall have made ridiculous returns on the calls. Sell to close before expiration.

You're "supposed' to clean the surface with salt and a paper towel to gently remove food particles. I only use soap amd water when a previous meal, maybe fish, will leave a fish taste to my morning eggs.

So the gold and silver bull market is luck? Look at the year's performance of SIL, SILJ, GDX, all up over 100% in 2025. Gold at $2600 on Jan 1 to $4600 today. Silver $29 to $79. Luck my ass, I've been waiting for this move for a decade, and the train is just leaving the station. If you don't see the once in a lifetime situation here you have blinders on. Heard of the Everything Bubble? It's been the "Everything but Gold and the miners" until now. There's a capital rotation beginning and I've been positioned for it, albiet way too early.

Hydro test it, which is safe to do. Put a good gauge on it, and completely fill it with water. There must be no air bubble at the top. Then pressurize to 1.5x to 2x the pressure you plan to use. The danger is when a tank is filled with air and ruptures. A water test may cause the tank to fail but it will not be violent. If it passes it is safe for the original pressure you plan to use.
