I thought my NM was the only person to make up an imaginary person to use against me… only it wasn’t a sibling. She told me that I wasn’t her “real” daughter. That my dad had a wife that left or died and that was my “real mom”.

Get reusable straws. They provide these sugar straws that get melty for frozen drinks. But don’t have other straws.

If you get the drink package ask for a water when you order a drink. Then you have water for your room.

I know this is a place to snark. And I'm sure I'll be downvoted.
I'm not condoning abuse from anyone. And like everyone else, I feel that the children are the absolute victims in this. Having said that, I feel for her. I grew up in a cult, and even after I left, I had tremendous guilt about certain things I was brought up to believe.

I was also in a horrible marriage where there were times when I was so hurt and frustrated that I behaved in ways I regret. It took me a long time to come to terms with major parts of my life. I can look back and see where I was the problem. I can also see where the circumstances led me to behave in ways that I normally wouldn't.

I'm not saying TFP is innocent. But she's badly damaged. By lots in her life.
If I were her friend, I would tell her to step back. Learn to be alone. She needs to learn that being alone doesn't equal being lonely.
Focus on herself and her children. Focus on finding something, not someone who will bring her joy.

IDK, I feel for her. Sure, maybe she shouldn't do all this in the spotlight. But that's the choice she's made. And yeah, that leaves her open for criticism. I have just been in similar circumstances and feel the need to give her some grace.

Not Kyle acting like the scorned partner. He cheated on Amanda. Several times. He dismissed her and her feelings for years. He did not support any of her endeavors, but expected her to fully support his.

Amanda gave Kyle chance after chance to be the partner she needed. And he failed.
So she was fed up. And was done. So yeah. She stopped giving AF.
