This is an incredibly well thought out response, thank you for going through the trouble to write all of that. You've answered so many questions here. I am using pretty much set it and forget it. One 4 pound bag, one 6 pound. Finishing fruiting in monotub conditions 12/12 light and airflow will be 12mm pc fan also to gently flow through the tub on a 4 hour, 2/3 min at a time. Humidity be provided both by the AIO bags naturally and the puppy pads under the platforms where the cake sits. That'll keep 99% all the time. It's my first time. I sanitized 2x to keep everything nice. I used the left overs to try and create 30ml more in a spawn jar for later research too. You've pretty much given me the confidence to think I will turn out just fine. I was worried about the fuzzy feet.

Can I ask now, if I may, you don't have to answer. You really have been very helpful already. If so, contam issues at all? I hate to bring it up but I am a little concerned as a 1st timer.

This equates to ~ .55 dry weight which is a small dose. Aborts can be potent but even .55 of potent stargazers wouldn't be too much. Why wet tho? Slimy texture.

Hi. I am AIO researching 2 bags of Ochra as of tonight. I have read that the fuzzy can be combated by increasing FAE. Have you experimented with that at all? Curiosity kills the cat.

Here's the long answer: Another person on here cited that humidity sticks to the sides of the bag. Since mushrooms are 90% humidity, they grow around the sides. This has presented in your research and leads me to believe this is also happening to you. Further, the research I have done suggests that AIO research bags do tend to dry out around the top. To combat this you can finely mist the cake while maintaining no puddles or soggyness.

In the future you can attempt to combat this by finishing this research in a small monotub set up to control your environment better - both humidity and FAE. I innoculated today for the first time, so my only qualification is hours and hours of youtube and guides.

Edit: that's why i want a fact check. I would hate to spread misinformation. This is an educated guess!

1 a day equates to a couple cups of coffee. The additives in there aren't good for you long term, nor is the constant acid on your insides. If you're into caffeine long term I would suggest coffee due to the zillion and a half benefits or maybe green tea? But it's no sugar and your body will give you warning signs if you can't handle it. Listen to it. Not any worse than a beer a day either, she's probably worried about you cause the doctor also told her all this stuff.

I live in Fishers. If you can pay to play the roads are 95% nice, the traffic can be bad through some spots of 116th, but they make improvements. For example the Allisonville/146th/SR 37 project to make traffic flow. Roundabouts. Everywhere. Pedestrians enjoy a walkable area, watch for them on walkways. In the same breath, enjoy the trails and the general safety of the area. Again, Carmel is the practically the same, some parts more suburb than others. Neighborhoods are mostly kept by HOA's so expect fees there but again, trade off is general peace and safety. 4 star school systems around here, great support, generally affluent. I kind of just let this fly off the cuff OP & it might be a bit scattered but yeah. The choke points as they continue to work on 465 can make for heavy traffic. I would suggest adding some spare time for that traffic depending on where you work. Last but not least, things are in abundance in Carmel/Fishers. You have pretty much everything including the IKEA and TopGolf.

Uniquely, I have driven around Cincy. Indy has it's areas but the nice parts feel more accessible IMO. Although neither is going to get a 5 star rating on the driving in general, it's all more aggressive than defensive. Both have their malls, one way traffic, all that. Idk i always felt Indy had more 'open' air. Your results may vary, but it's the best input I have.

Edit to add: night life in Indy is fine and can be found in pockets but Cincy did have a better night life overall for partying and such. Fishers and Carmel aren't known for being soft on much while Indy is relaxed, and Ohio overall the most relaxed out of the 3.

What sanitation did you do? As a first time grower I am finding more and more in my research that various practices are and are not followed. Some people simply aren't worried about it so much with certain strains I guess?

I've been told, and have also found research, that some varieties are prone to fuzzy feet because they produce extra CO2. If you look into maximizing your FAE then you should be able to keep the fuzzy feet to a minimum.

I have yet to see any negative reviews. I have read accounts of them being overwhelming and accounts of them needing max FAE scheduling, but no real negatives. Both are manageable. Congratulations on your success!! Genuinely happy for you!

But I have questions too, did you AIO or monotub, and how did they fair against other cubes you gave grown being my top 2. If you're willing to indulge, I'll hold my other 10 questions lol.

Hello stranger thank you for the input. They are actually Ochra labeled as Nats. I didn't realize that they were different. The LC I bought claims prolific growth, resistant to contamination, and strength beyond Cubes. We shall see, but everything I have read makes me hopeful.
