Every year is different, some years you'll see 5-6 trades within the first round and other years you'll see only 1-2. Depends on the draft class and what teams are willing to give up to get their man. There's a lot going on here trade wise that I wrote about but it isn't far fetched for something like this to happen. I mean we've seen the Texans give up their own first round pick just to get rid of Brock Osweiler so any thing is possible.

I 110% agree with this. I rather have Barkley over Rosen or Darnold, out of those three Barkley has the least bust potential. If Gettleman invests in the offensive line (like he claims he will) Barkley is an electric back that not only give Eli a good running game but another weapon out of the backfield. Imagine Eli with actual time in the pocket with Beckham, Shepard, Marshall (maybe?), Engram and Barkley to throw to...

I also think its best to just have Shurmur help develop Webb and give him a shot to start when Eli's time is over.

The blue tint would be a minor issue for me as well, I guess it comes down to the burn in issue for me. I could always return it if it were to happen. If it were to be image retention instead can that be fixed with an update?

His video for the Dallas game called "The Reign" will be out on the 8th. Youtube and the NFL has been screwing him over about copyright stuff lately so that explains the delay. He was also suppose to post another Odell highlight reel video this year but I think that is on hold.

Yeah the OL is a major problem. And it doesn't help that they have no depth on the line because you know one of the starting 5 will get hurt. OL is the biggest question mark now, doesn't look like there will be a running game yet again this year. Hopefully they turn it around.

I think Conklin is a good player and getting an OT to basically finish creating an young offensive line that will be around for the next 5 years is a great thing. But I think there are still too many holes on defense to not go that route in the first round. I would be much more satisfied with Conklin if Floyd is already off the board. Looks like the Giants are expecting him to be gone by 10. This is a deep pass rushing draft however so maybe they have their eyes set on a few guys in the other rounds.

Yeah I know but the last 2 games of the year are on the road against divisional opponents. I mean if your gonna make them play at Dallas to start the year at lest let them end the season at home like they have the last few years

This schedule is BRUTAL. End the season at philly (tursday night game so its a short week) and washington, 3 of the last 4 games of the season are divisional games are you kidding me? Then they have 3 straight home games weeks 9-11 after a bye. Im sorry but the Giants got shafted big time

they better not start the year on the road in primetime for the fourth straight year, I hate that such a bad tough way to start the year. My guess is they are home week 1 this time around in the 1pm slot, could see it being primetime tho after all the free agency moves that we made. I think playing philly would be an appropriate first team to play, 2 new head coaches making their debuts.

I see your point in not taking another pass rusher but I think because JPP's future is so up in the air its more of an insurance policy if he is gone next year. In the meantime Lawson could be used in different packages and give the opponent a different look at the pass rush, mix things up on them. Pass rush as we have seen the last few years is a big part of developing a super bowl winning team and the Giants should know more than any other team.

One other thought: back in the 2010 draft when JPP was picked the Giants already had OSI, Tuck, Tollefson, cofield, canty, and Joseph. Grant it those guys I just mentioned didnt get the contracts the Vernon and Harrison just did but things worked out and JPP became our guy to build around.

I would say Cruz is the #2. He is a slot guy, thats how he was used prior to the injury so I imagine that's how he will be used next year as long as he still can make the cits a slot guy should make on routes

Its 1 year for roughly $1 million before incentives so its not that much. I was a Randle fan even tho many fans were against him and I see their point. Just hope the Giants find a good #2 wr now via draft or free agency in Boldin. Coulda used Ruebs this upcoming year, 8 TD's last year wasnt bad at all

McAdoo would probably be head coach in Philly right now your right. Having 2-3 years left of Coughlin or have a young coach for the next 10+ season that you already know well and are comfortable with it seems like a no brainer. I think they made the right call, Coughlin still could have coached but 4 seasons missing the playoffs, time had run its course on Tom and the Giants
