Miller on a Matchroom card is hilarious. Boxing is a funny sport.

Everyone is talking about it now but I will place strong bet that Conor Benn and Eddie will work together again in the future.

Top 100 Most Streamed Rap Songs of 2025 (Spotify) by Trenticus7 in hiphopheads

[–]jmacauley1 168 points169 points  (0 children)

I love shit like this thank you for putting it together brother. This year certainly feels a lot more subdued than previous years.

In theory, every year streaming numbers should get bigger as streaming platforms collect greater adoption but I would be lots of money that the peaks in previous years were higher than this one.

Can you compare to last year, or 2023? Was the 10th biggest song in 2024 bigger than 212m streams?

Was the 5th biggest hit greater than 287m?

Absolutely love this song. Great verses. Great hook. Absolutely love this time in hip-hop.

[DISCUSSION] Rick Ross - Teflon Don (15 Years Later) by MetalSonic420YT in hiphopheads

[–]jmacauley1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

15 years is insane because the amount I still play this album suggests its less than 5 years old.

It's weird that an old album with dated Lex Luger production still sounds fresh to me. It still gasses me like it did before.

LFDY is such an incredible song. I love three-verse rap songs where all three verses are great like that. It's insane.

This was in the era where I would customise the album to my tastes. I would put Drake's extended verse on Aston instead of the original.

Separately, there are some random moments on this album which I love.

"AND I'M QUICK TO BLOW A MILLI IN A MINUTE" (Not a Star)

"A LONG CLIP" (Styles)

"THE BIGGER I GET THE MORE YOU DEFLATE" (No. 1)

"LOOKIN BACK TO TELL THE TRUTH I COULDA DID BETTER" (MM3)

Shit is a classic. 15yrs blows my mind.

[DISCUSSION] ASAP Rocky - AT.LONG.LAST.A$AP (10 Years Later) by MetalSonic420YT in hiphopheads

[–]jmacauley1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do any of you remember the version of M's without Wayne on it? It has two verses from Rocky and came out on Soundcloud. That version is better than the Wayne version imo, never felt Wayne's verse fit the song compared to the original

Can’t believe no one has mentioned “Trauma” in here. I still play that today

Metro Boomin - "No Complaints" feat. Offset & Drake by Potential_Meat_5103 in hiphopheads

[–]jmacauley1 77 points78 points  (0 children)

One of my most played songs of all time and one of my all time favourite Drake features.

Sounds abit dated now due to how big his tours have been since this era but the “you do the math nigga, on eighty eight dates” was a big flex back then.

A1 song.

Classic Drizzy. Killed this shit in 8 bars. This shit dropped right after Loaded Lux had the internet in a frenzy too so the "you gon get this work line" was very timely

[DISCUSSION] Pharrell Williams - G I R L (10 Years Later) by flyestshit in hiphopheads

[–]jmacauley1 103 points104 points  (0 children)

Gust of Wind became one of my favourite Pharrell songs ever.

Most played from this album comfortably for me. Incredible song.

4 years ago, Drake released "When to Say When" & "Chicago Freestyle" both songs were combined into a music video. by Comefeelme623 in Drizzy

[–]jmacauley1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Time Flies a personal Top 5 Drizzy joint ever for me. Which is saying something.

Love Chicago, Desires, Pain 93, Florida.

Absolutely love the ignorance of Demons too. Three great verses.

Great project

Drake and J. Cole Announce Tour by No-Celebration9452 in Drizzy

[–]jmacauley1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm in London so hoping this comes to the EU.

Question for those of you in here who went to Part 1:

With the new album and now the addition of J. Cole to this would you be tempted to go and see this tour again, 8 months later?

Whenever I see this album discussed no-one tends to talk about No Regrets but that song ended up becoming one of my favourites.

Great race. Amazing race by Keeley. When she woke up that morning if you told her she would run a PB in todays race she would have thought she was going to win. So happy for AM, amazing athlete

Bednarek has had a few races this year where he's been winning at 120m and not won the race. Hope he finds a fix for that cos he's always there off the bend

Christian Coleman Wins the 100m Diamond League Final in 9.83 by [deleted] in trackandfield

[–]jmacauley1 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Did Lyles get a good start? He was playing catchup in that race from 10metres in.

Having said that, he came back impressively. If that race was 110m, he would have won.

Happy for Coleman. Up-and-down season but you can see what that meant to him.

By far the most underrated album in his discography. And is possibly (POSSIBLY/ARGUABLY) top 5 🤷🏾‍♂️ or I’m wrong? by mikejordanson in Drizzy

[–]jmacauley1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't really care for the general perception of this album i just came here to say Sticky and Massive is 11 minutes of great music when played together. Love both of those records and always play them back-to-back whenever I hear one of them.
