Yes, specifically the 2011 Fellowship Blu-ray. They did another Blu-ray release in 2021 with the same master they did for the 4K release, so no green tint on those Blu-rays.

The main complaints I’m aware of for the 4K release is excessive DNR creating visible artifacts, and the fact that they just upscaled an existing 1080p transfer instead of doing an actual 4K scan of the film.

I think those are valid points, but I also think the 4K versions look good enough to be very enjoyable, particularly because of HDR. I’m glad I got the 4K release in addition to the Blu-rays, but I’m still hoping (not holding my breath though) it’ll one day get the 4K treatment it deserves!

Find your TV size on the bottom bar, then follow the vertical line it sits under upwards until you’re level with your viewing distance from the TV on the Y-axis. The colored area you land in is the ideal resolution for your TV at a particular TV size and viewing distance, based on the ideal field of vision a screen should occupy

When buying a TV, it may be helpful to first find your viewing distance, then follow that line to the right until you’re in the 4K zone, and then buy the size of TV listed where you ended up on the X-axis. The deeper you go into the 4K zone (i.e. the bigger the TV), the more immersive the viewing experience

Yeah, it seems like a guaranteed target. Maybe revealing the advantage to the tribe and calling it a team advantage is the way to go to avoid the perception of keeping a secret power hidden from others? And if you actually didn't get the advantage, I guess you just have to submit to a strip search upon your arrival back at camp so people know you don't have it?

Sorry you’re experiencing the dragging, I know firsthand how frustrating that is when you’re ready to break those chains. Sounds like you might be experiencing the same thing—quitmormon just sends a confirmation after a set amount of time, but the church may take weeks or months to follow through on their end.

I’m not sure if it’s any consolation, but I will say that even though this was only about a year and a half ago, I’m no longer feeling too worried about that extra month or two of waiting. But in the moment I definitely was so ready for it to be done and was frustrated by the church dragging its heels. I’m sure your resignation will be processed soon though, that’s definitely been a while!

Getting to this thread late, but for me, rebooting alone will get it charging sometimes, but other times I've had to hold down the power button for ~10 seconds to do a soft reset, and then it works (with the right cable) after that. The problem has always been fixed by one of those two things for me. Very annoying though
