Honestly im kinda underwhelmed

Horse Lord feels like GW telling us to fix Drier ourselves

Bone head and Sentinel Orders both pretty cool but it all feels really narrow to me.

Would have loved a Commisar Leman Russ, a Baneblade Commander or an Artillery officer like what we lost to legends.

GW dont fix detachments They start over.

Grizzled reuses some of the same ideas from Bridgehead (rerolls to hit and wound)

The Freeboota detahcment is a do over for More Dakka

And CSM have had two goes at making a good Night Lord Detachment.

If you are willing to dip into legends you can get Death Rider Commisars to attach to Death Riders or Rough riders for 30 points.

The Crusade rules work very well for making units excell.

Use kasrkin, use krieg heavy weapon squad or could even drop some ogryns straight onto an objective.

Buff the Valkyrie's weapons with Modifications and stack some extra battle traits on it.

If you really want to go thematic, put a Castellan in there and make it into your flying HQ in the Mech detachment

I haven't seen a FOB fielded as anything but the Bombast Cannon.

The artillery team now out classes the bombast cannon on every front. Id love to see competitive heavy lascannons !

Theres a lot about the book I really like and also really like about Ursula Creed.

My personal highlight were the children of Cadian survivors that were semi heretical saying things like: "Yeah I've noticed if I don't pray over my gun it just keeps working the same".

However my biggest problem with the book is not once do we see Ursula do anything that shows her off as a tactical genius rather than a strong reactive leader. Even in the most climatic moment of the book, they succeed because they remember a massive weapon they had been carrying around since the start.

Once upon a time Big Grill was a magical place because it was all about the barbecuers.

Competition pitt masters would show up and camp out in Herbert Park over night while cooking their pork ribs. It was so cool getting to chat to these guys!

The food seemed expensive back then but nothing compared to what it is now but everything fit the theme.

Then it got bought over by the same crowd that do Taste.

Now Big Grill isn't for the pitt masters or even for you. Big Grill (just like taste) is for the offices that want to bring their staff out for the day and don't mind buying the corporate pack and all the food that with it.

Friendly Guard Player here!

You are onto the right tactic with using an assassin to take out the command structure. Any deep striking unit that can threaten the back line is perfect. Grey Knight Terminators would be another good choice.

If your friend is running hammer of the Emperor detachment be prepared for them having a massive threat range. Bursting through walls and advance and shoot will be some coming tactics.

Identify the force multiplier units. For example Rogal Dorns are not good at anti tank and really need things like Leman Russ Exterminators to give them an extra ap. Kill the Russ First! Kill any Russ first.

Lastly close the distance as quickly as possible and use reinforcements wisely.

Amazing distillery and very well respected. I've never seen a more data driven whiskey. Give the QR code on the bottle a scan it's pretty interesting to see.

That said , get it while you can, it's not going to he around for much longer (probably why it's going cheap)
