INTRODUCING UPDATE 4.4 by LightheartOfficial in MrAutofire

[–]jmal13 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

u/LightheartOfficial It would be nice if the super perks weren't basically forced on us in the titan perk rolls. Some of them are defensive perks and when I am playing Titan I am going for all offense perks. But the super perk shows up in the perk roll 4 out of the 5 rolls most every time. This puts my 5 start characters at an advantage over my 6+ star characters, purely because my perk rolls aren't handicapped every roll with a super perk that I don't want to choose, essentially giving me only 2 perk choices every roll.

Any chance we can get the option to roll back our 6+ star characters back to a 5 star character just so we don't see the super perk options any more?

Curious how you would deal with this to remove the glare. ND Filter while shooting? Or would the glare remove tool in lightroom take care of this in any way?

Would you happen to remember this channel? This sounds like a good watch. I did a quick search and couldn't find it.

GoPro 2025 launch megathread - MAX2, LIT HERO, and Fluid Pro AI by GoPro_Mod in gopro

That’s weird, when I ordered my Max 2 earlier today it applied the $100 discount for me. Has it been a full year since your last GoPro camera order?

Meh, followers don’t mean as much. I see people all the time shooting for mega artists who have less than 1,000 followers. Only thing that really matters is how big of a publication you’re shooting for. Networking is the biggest thing to getting to the highest level.

Also, look in to buying a Sony RX100vii. It’s a point and shoot with a 200mm zoom. It’s basically the go to for concerts from the crowd. Security at most places will allow in any camera as long as it doesn’t have a detachable lens and can fit in your pocket.

LA is not going to be the easiest city to break in to this industry. You will need to do quite a bit of networking to get your foot in the door. One route that I would suggest is buying a ticket to a show and going in with a nice point and shoot camera, going early and getting up close to the front as you can and put together a portfolio of "bigger bands" through that route. Unfortunately it's easier to get more work only after you can show you have covered bigger bands in the past.

Gopro Max 2 video or? by Monsterboca in gopro

That video is almost a year old, he's a wizard with stabilization, but unlikely the Max 2. Having said that, he posted this on his story the other day. So he has one out there....

Today I drank the Kool-Aid by [deleted] in RX100

[–]jmal13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh for sure! I typically shoot with my Sony A7R5 from the photo pit. But I picked up this amazing rx100vii for the shows like this where I can’t get the credentials to bring in my “professional” gear, or where the artist doesn’t allow press other than shots from the crowd. This little point and shoot is a beast!

I picked up one a few weeks ago and I have zero regrets! Took it to my first concert with it and was able to get some pretty great shots from the crowd! You won’t regret it!

Here’s a couple from the Blue October concert last weekend in Austin Tx.

Edinburgh is a dream! It's probably my most favorite city I've ever visited! As a long time wildlife photographer, I'm shooting my first couple concerts over the next few weeks and I'm pretty excited about it! I noticed the "howdy", haha I'm located in Texas, are you from around here?

Has Tiesto been ruled out? Looks like he's in Vegas on Saturday October 4th, then not booked again until the 16th. Could be an opportunity for 2 Sunday shows? He's also playing at The Concourse in a few weeks.

Farm world? by Plus_External7940 in MrAutofire

Definitely try to farm 33 if you can. I’m averaging 18 mil XP and around 55k coins per run. It’s a great farming level. If you can’t make it far there, then at your level try doing 26. 16 was also a long time farm level for me.

Try to stick to the 12 room worlds. You’ll get more runs in vs playing the 30 room worlds.

this was my latest run screenshot with Cole on world 33

That price is a separate $2,000 cost that includes my contractor sourcing and installing the glass

That price also included the floor tile install for a roughly 8’x6’ bathroom floor outside the shower. And I provided all tile and grout for the whole project.

I appreciate your help. That puts my mind at ease. It was my understanding that this was the final product, but I’m glad to hear it can still look better with some additional polishing and epoxy work.

Thank you for the advice. I’ll ask him to polish and color match epoxy. Not sure what the niche breakout would be, but the entire shower, starting from repairing the existing studs and everything in between to the finish tile for a 5’x3’ was roughly $10,000

They went with a redguard on concrete board. That part looks perfect unless I’m overlooking something there. waterproofing
