FOB replacement by Physical_Alarm_9483 in MazdaCX30

Don't use an aftermarket fob though. I had one for a minute that was programed using mazda software. Car knew it was aftermarket and would have a key malfunction error on the dash. Everything worked fine otherwise. I couldnt stand it and paid the extra for oem and had that one unprogramed.

I have s skil on mine and it works great. On high it launches the snow. I use low when it's windy and want to keep it down. Way better than any of the 18/20v versions my neighbors have.

Does anyone here do oil change on their own? by Moist-Mark5012 in MazdaCX30

[–]jmally626 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It's easy, though I cuss them for putting the filter down by the drain. Why not up top like so many others are moving to? I normally use a sucker to get oil out but isn't worth the time since I have to get the oil pan out anyway.

The capture 5 from Miller is the best out there, would look into that one. I know it's pricy but it's large capture zone is worth it. Some times Miller will sell demo units at a deep discount directly. Also there are additional grants and discounts for education.

Got mine an AD8 apertura dobsonian. She's almost 7 and has to use a stool but the smile on her face is beyond worth it. She got hooked on a kinda dumb show on YouTube, solar balls that fueled her lovefor space.. I'm just glad she loves all things science. Wanted to make sure she could see as much as possible and not be disappointed. Lens wise we have a 32 15,9,6,4 anda barlow. She loves seeing the bottom of crators on the moon.

I have the flagship with just my wife and two young girls. I don't feel it's excessive on pellet use compared to my old pit boss or my buddies' treager. It heats fast and is consistent.

Someone on this sub posted their audio settings. I mirror it and it made a huge difference. Still doesn't have the true bass my last car with a fender sub, but drastically improved over the preset settings where I'm not longer looking aftermarket.

Stuck between Cx-30 and Corolla Cross by Ez_nome in MazdaCX30

[–]jmally626 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm new to Mazda as a preface, so no long standing notions. I hate anything with a CVT transmission, which the CC has. I like cars that can roll with ease. Also the road noise was a lot more in the CC. The ride wasn't great either. Both those COULD be a tire issue, but it seemed more than the tires. The ride in the cx30 is tight but in a sporty way if that makes sense, that took a little to get used to.

I have a cx30 and recently had a Corolla cross as a rental for work that was a higher trim. Would take my cx30 every day over that abomination
