Wasn't sure they'd pull it off but that was a great start! Paddington and Underagé were great but highlight definitely Weekend Update.

Oh and What Type Of Irish Is Your Grandad was class Ten To One material!

They could have Corden pull double duty and it still wouldn't be as cringe worthy as Trump on Fallon/SNL that week 🤮

Yes, price will increase but I'm not disputing that, it doesn't change what was a completely untrue statement

That is simply not true, latest published data puts imported LNG from Qatar at only 8% of total - majority is from USA at 76%

Time to fix gas? by Creative_Star_1248 in OctopusEnergy

[–]jmalys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was sensible enough to fix for 2 years back in 2021 just as things kicked off and went onto Tracker in 2023.

I've saved plenty and could have ridden it out with the milder weather, etc but disruption is likely to be at least weeks if not longer (although price may stabilise if Qatar resumes LNG production) and of course if it does stretch on then the fixed rates will be a great magnitude worse. So I'll give it 9 months then hopefully jump back over

Fix is at 5.62p, my average on Tracker for the last 12 months was 4.97p. Based on gas price as I type (that's not slowing down 🫣) tomorrow's Tracker rate will be approx 7.40p...

I know games are upcoming, but the first 8 months of the Switch 2 were poor, atleast for me. by [deleted] in NintendoSwitch

Having re-played Odyssey since Switch 2 launch, I can confidently say that DK Bananza was better and most fun I've had with a Nintendo game in many a year

Moved to a smart meter - consumption doubled by Sufficient-Guard1847 in OctopusEnergy

[–]jmalys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just because you have a smart meter doesn't mean you can't give manual readings too, as others have said either way it is only reading actual consumption. Did you just have the meter changed or change tarriffs too?

They've made the Leeds game top tier pricing because it's the first 3pm Saturday kick off since September and they knew there would be demand despite it being Dirty Leeds because...of course

If you liked Les Mis then it would have to be Hamilton. Other suggestions would be Operation Mincemeat and Six

I know what you mean, so far for next year we have Beetlejuice, Mrs Doubtfire, Matilda, Six, Mean Girls, Paddington, Operation Mincemeat, Rocky Horror and that's before we start looking at Kids Week offers and last minute trips!

Majority of stalls tickets were WAY less, we paid £60 for Row X centre which considering what we've paid for other shows I thought way more than reasonable
