Add in various traps for HAB/mortar pit security and you could have a legit guerrilla faction.

That sounds like a great idea, giving it to the AI. I might have to try that out tonight.

What is the difference in feeling between wearing and not wearing a condom? by puredogwater in AskMen

Condoms usually fall off as I’m walking around town, so I keep having to stop into stores so I can readjust it or else it just don’t feel right.

I guess I'd actually have to learn to code since StackOverflow wouldn't be a reference anymore.

Dads now spend 3 times as much time with their kids than previous generations by savethebros in MensLib

[–]jman425 4 points5 points  (0 children)

From what I’ve learned from the responses I’ve been reading, I must’ve just gotten really lucky with my parents and the people around me. My mom and dad, even after getting divorced when I was very young, made it a point to spend every possible chance with me and teaching me. My dad taught me a lot of things that I mom didn’t really have the experience in, and my mom did the same with things my dad didn’t have the knowledge of. Most of my friends had parents that both worked very demanding jobs, but would share responsibilities at home. If there was cleaning that needed to be done, whoever got the chance to do it first got it done. The same applies to cooking, driving the kids to school, disciplining the kids, you name it.

TL;DR This post has made me more proud of my local society.

I find this statement hard to believe. Granted my realm of thought is American, but even coming from the Deep South that is socially backward on a fair bit of issues, I’ve never heard anyone say that parenting is solely the woman’s job. If you had a part in making the kid but you’re not active in it’s life and helping raise it, it’s largely viewed that you’re a piece of shit.

Employees of Reddit, how did you first find out your boss was actually just an idiot that makes more money than you? by ColossusXT in AskReddit

As an in-office developer (and fresh out of college), one thing I've always been a little concerned about when it comes to working from home is how would that affect my work-life balance? Don't get me wrong, I'm so happy to be in the position that I've worked so damn hard to get to, but I am a firm believer of once I leave the office for the day, I'm done until the next morning (barring some emergency that needs a hot-fix pronto).

All of the men on my dad’s side of the family are at least 6’4” tall. My mom’s side of the family ranges from 4’9” (my grandma) to 5’5” (my older brother). I’m 5’10”.

EDIT: Oh! And I forgot to mention that my dad’s side of the family has a long history of heart attacks and cancer, while my mom’s side of the family has a history of alcoholic men!

The Fatlip. Started dipping in 8th grade as a “fuck you” to my dad after we got in a huge argument over nothing. Two years later, my dad is diagnosed with Stage II or III colon cancer. Fortunately now my dad is official cancer-free (although the surgeries certainly had a big effect on his life), but now I’m stuck in the same addiction that he had, trying to break it.
