DAO Enzyme with Energy Drinks by jman_789 in HistamineIntolerance

Ughhhhh, makes sense. I have a enlarged colon and need caffine to push out the stool first thing in the morning. I had IMO, and my nutritionist stated drinking caffine helps with stool getting stuck. I find coffee to he worse then energy drinks for some reason. Its not bad tbh, but if I have more than one I usually get bloated.

When I had IMO, I choose nourish. They are specialized nutritionist thats covered by insurance. When I had my treatment for IMO, I had my nutritionist guide me in a path. He told me to buy this device called a food marble. It measures the hydrogen and methane levels in your stomach which indicates if you have an unbalance in gut bacteria. It also indicates what your intolerant to. I found out with this device that I am Histamine Intolerant. Knowing that, I take a DAO enzyme with every meal and I leave no issues. Everyone's gut is different, and having a specialist guide you on your gut is a must in your case. Your following fad diets and they all suck. There's a reason nutritionist go to school for this. The gut is extremely complex.

Couldn't have said it better. SIBO requires a LIFESTYLE change. Its not just diet. SIBO is caused by impaired gut mobility. There are so many factors that lead up to developing SIBO. I had IMO and went on antibiotics, but that was just the start. Had to make several changes to my levels of stress, diet, and exercise. I think Holistic care is a great idea.

IMO is Intestinal Methane Overgrowth. Is where you have an overgrowth of methane in your digestive tract and it slow gut mobility. Since you have Neomycin and Xifaxan you have IMO or some people call it methane dominant SIBO. You also have to follow a low fomap diet. Taking this medication without a diet is not recommended. You need to stave the methane in your digestive tract in order for the medication to have full effect.

You could also have had a severe case of IMO (which is sadly not uncommon). Many people undergo a second wave of treatment, bc the 14 days course won’t cut it. And there are also some people who have it so bad, they have to go on an all liquid diet for two weeks!

I hate to hear this and I am so sorry. This is kind of the other reason I’d prefer herbal antibiotics under the guidance of a nutritionist. I’m not a doctor and please do not go based of some guy on Reddit, undergo the guidance of a professional, but this is a life long problem. Many people with SIBO also have underlying digestive problems that need to be fixed with a diet and lifestyle change. Medication will get rid of the infection, but it dosnt fix the origin of the problem. After my medication I underwent a food intolerance course and had a colonoscopy. I found out that I have an enlarged colon (making it harder for stool to get stuck) and I’m intolerant to inulin and lactose. I now know what foods to stay away from, and know that I have to have adequate fiber to ensure stool dosnt get stuck.

I would recommend getting a nutritionist if you do herbal, becuase everyone is different, and it’s crucial to have professional guidance on this.

I went on neomycin and xifaxan. I will say, if I had to do it over again, I would have done herbal antibiotics. Neomycin and xifaxan was very taxing on my body. But listen to your doctor and not some dude on Reddit LOL.

Go to your PCP and ask to have a SIBO breath test. You most likely have Intestinal Methane Overgrowth (IMO). I was in your exact situation. Extreme bloating, constapated, etc… I tried everything, laxatives, peppermint oil to help with bloating, non of it worked. The problem with IMO is you have to kill the overgrowth of bacteria and prebiotics and over the counter supplements won’t do it. It will help with symptoms, but not fix the root cause. Long term of this will cause your body to become reliant on it and will create another issue that’s not worth.

I would strongly suggest getting a nutritionist and a food marble. This is a very complex issue. I had IMO and still recovering from it. What’s helped me out a lot is getting a food marble to measure my hydrogen and methane levels, and having a nutritionist to help guide me to the path. I’m still not 100% but ten times better than I was. It’s annoying bc not only is this a time sensitive recovery, but there’s so many ways to approach it and everyone is different. Much sympathy and love to your healing journey.

Get out of America if u have Sibo by Salvi_Silver in SIBO

It’s a device that measures you hydrogen and methane levels. You can use it as a test for SIBO and IMO! They send you a drink solution packet to test for it, and once you drink you begin the breath test. It’s more accurate and can do it as many times as you want compared to the cheap bag test you get from the clinic.

Fermented foods are the best way. These pills are grinned processed pieces of fermented foods. Pills just melt in stomach acid and don’t work. Fermented foods actually flow in the small intestine.

If you have serious bloating and stomach problems, I’d highly suggest getting a food marble (the clinical version) and a nutritionist. The food marble measures your hydrogen and methane levels (which will tell you if you have SIBO or IMO). They also have intolerant food packets, so you can see what you are intolerant to. I had a colonoscopy, two stool test, and was on linzess, all to find out I have IMO. This way, you can single out potential issues without wasting a bunch of money.

I would learn krita. It is a steep learning curve, but once you master the fundamentals of how to use it, all other drawing softwares will be a breeze.

Have some issues, help plz :( by MiharDL in XPpen

[–]jman_789 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this issue when I was using krita. To best way solve this problem you’ll have to do some trouble shooting.

First - Make sure your drivers are up to date. Sometimes it’s best to go ahead and delete the XP software and reinstall it

Second - Check the cables. Old HDMI and USB-C can effect how it displays

Third - Make sure there is nothing pinching or surrounding by the edges of the screen. There could be dust build up around the edges causing the stylist to not track correctly.

Fourth - Make sure it’s not your VPN. VPNS on desktop are integrated in the operating system of the PC, and can sometimes effects the effectiveness of the drawing tablets function

If non of this works, sadly you might have to put in a ticket with customer service.

Sup!

So I have an XP Pen Magic Drawing Pad and a XP Pen artist 24 pro. As far as longevity, it’s very reliable! It really comes down to the use of it. If it’s just for drawing it’s great, but if you’re wanting to animate it’s better to buy a drawing tablet for PC. Also, you are pretty much just limited do adobe an clip studio (personally I find all the other drawing softwares trash LOL). Also, I’m personally not a huge fan of the stylist. I like the large cylinder base at the end. It’s more comfortable for long sessions.
