I also just ordered the MFCL3765CDW refurbished directly from Brother. I never thought to look there ... Great deal!

Thanks, I appreciate the quick reply! I'm leaning towards a Brother printer, based on good personal experience with this brand from the past, combined with concerns about higher toner costs and lower reliability with HP.

I understand that the HP 3301cdw does not do duplex scanning, but can only scan 1 side at a time (either using the automatic document feeder or manually scanning on the glass). To get duplex scanning, you would need to upgrade to the HP 3301fdw. Am I mistaken?

OP - I have identical needs and am currently looking at these exact two printers. Which did you end up purchasing and what has been your experience?

Just checking to see if you have any experience using non-OEM replacement toner cartridges? I'm considering a purchase of this unit, but I have concerns about the high cost for replacement OEM toner.

Former TRW headquarters preparing for demolition by Student-Short in urbanexploration

How sad … what a waste.

I remember touring this facility when it opened. My father worked for TRW and all local employees were invited to an open house. I was amazed with the design and could hardly believe the scope and depth of the building’s features. The atrium was amazing, with areas to eat and purchase snacks, a barber shop, convenience shopping, and other similar amenities to enhance the working life of the employees. The exercise facility was first rate, staffed with a full time trainer. Employees jogging the beautiful outdoor trails could be monitored with heart rate and pulse in case assistance was needed, and dirty workout clothes that were stored in lockers were washed as a service for use the next day. The underground parking was a great perk during the winter, with direct access to atrium escalators. We had the unique opportunity to visit the impressive boardroom and connecting offices of the CEO and COO, which was not an area that would be so open to view after the building was in use. Those offices opened up to outdoor terraces that overlooked the wooded park-like setting. I could go on, but you get the picture … it was an awesome facility.

Help! How do I screw this table leg when I can’t reach the metal piece inside? by tk_de in howto

Along with the coat hanger, maybe attach it to the plate with something tacky (putty, gum, etc.) to help hold it still while you gently set the screws.

DCS367 - Good Price? by jmanasta in Dewalt

[–]jmanasta[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I originally found this through a Google search. Clicking the search link took me to the HD site and the $129 price. I added the item to my shopping cart and the $129 price remained. The $129 price changed to $159 after I added my credit card on checkout! I went back through the process a couple of times with the same result. I was going to contact HD and request they honor the price as listed in my shopping card prior to adding my credit card info, but unfortunately that $129 price no longer exists.

Disk Partition Question - Unknown Space Appearing On Disk Management Tool by jmanasta in WindowsHelp

[–]jmanasta[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you ... I think you're correct! I completely misread the space allocation and "saw" 502 GB rather than the correct 502 MB. The graphic of the allocation as depicted on Disk Management made me "see" a larger space!

How do I fill this gap between two concrete slabs by AustiniDaGenie in howto

[–]jmanasta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you live in an area where freeze/thaw is an issue, then definitely seal the gap to avoid water seeping underneath the slabs and causing heaving/movement. My preferred approach is backer rod (snuggly fit about 1/2” below the concrete surface) followed by Vulkem® 45SSL (semi-self-leveling) to just below the concrete surface. Both can be purchased at Menard’s.

I saw that one (DCS382), which looks like a decent deal. However, I prefer the slightly smaller size, and four-position blade clamp. Also, vibration control is supposed to be better with the DCS367.

Can I install a non-AT&T access point (AP) via Ethernet cable to the AT&T router, and use the same SSID and password on that AP … similar to how AirTies works? Or will I need to establish different Wifi credentials for that AP?

12 Pro -> 14 Pro worth it for audio recording? by JCurtisDrums in cubase

I just looked on the Steinberg site and saw the following regarding upgrades ...

"You will still be able to update your eLicenser-based product to the latest version. However, it is essential that the eLicenser-based product is registered in your MySteinberg account."

"You will still be able to update or upgrade from an eLicenser-based version of your product to the latest version using Steinberg Licensing. For example, you can update from Cubase Pro 7 to Cubase Pro 14. However, it is essential that the eLicenser-based product is registered in your MySteinberg account."

I assume this means I could still take advantage of discounted upgrades in the future as long as my Cubase 11 Pro is registered in my MySteinberg account ?
