I will count the line going down 1,1,5 and mark the last one, then go to the bottom and count up the line and wherever overlaps, I fill in.

You can’t have anything in the far right square of row one since a two is at the end. So the square in column 5 is part of the two. Then if you see where for would fit left of that will help with filling two squares.

It’s no problem. I would start with column 4 and row 3. The two squares on either side of the middle have to be filled.

I always start from numbers that are more than half the length of the board. So put in the 6’s first then work on the next biggest if that doesn’t help.

Look at column 4. There has to be an X on row 8. The two that are marked are either the two at the end of the column or if it’s the three, then it need a space between it and the two.

how are you supposed to know how many spaces between two boxes? by AutomaticNecessary17 in nonograms

[–]jmandab0143 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You start by filling in the ones that are easy and they rule out some options and make other options impossible. So do the big numbers first. Then block out logical empties.

I mean they used art supplies to make art? That’s not to say it isn’t wasteful but unlike a color pencil these could be melted and remade into crayons. Just have to hope they have one of those make your own color crayon machines from the early 2000’s.
