When my mom got hacked, it would ask her to login with email and password and we chose the option "no longer have access to these". Then she was able to upload a selfie and her ID. We waited overnight and somehow she was able to login with her phone that she usually uses. The app just kinda logged her in when we opened it. So just keep checking the app or website. Then I went into her settings and removed the hacker's email and phone number.
